Salt air is a material condition
Within a few blocks of the water, standard exterior boxes, covers and fixture housings corrode fast. We spec marine-grade or powder-coated hardware, gasket properly, and use in-use covers on anything that stays plugged in. It costs a little more once instead of a lot twice.
Scheduling and parking
We give arrival windows we can keep, and we plan around the streets where a service van needs a permit or a neighbor's cooperation. If a job needs the power off, we tell you the night before and keep the window as short as the work allows.
