Rewiring an older El Segundo house
We have been opening walls on these blocks since 2001, so we can usually tell you what is behind the plaster before we cut it. Cloth-insulated branch circuits, knob-and-tube in the attic, ungrounded two-prong outlets, aluminum from the seventies — we replace what needs replacing and leave what is still sound, and we say which is which in writing.

Living in the house while we work
A partial rewire usually runs two to four days, a whole house four to eight depending on attic and crawlspace access. We work room by room so you keep power somewhere, cover floors and furniture, vacuum at the end of each day, and text you photos of what changed. Plaster and drywall patching is quoted with the job — we can leave it ready for your painter or handle it ourselves.
Smaller repairs, same crew
Not every call is a rewire. Dead outlets, a switch that buzzes, a three-way that only works one way, an outdoor receptacle full of salt air — we take the small jobs too, and we don't pad them to make the drive worth it. We live here; the drive is five minutes.
